Huang Hui, director of the Urban Stadium Construction Department of the Beijing Major Project Office, said that the National Aquatics Center completed ice-making in December last year in accordance with the requirements of the international individual organization and the Winter Olympics curling competition; and a second ice making was held in the National Speed Skating Oval, the Capital Gymnasium, the National Stadium and Wukesong Sports Center in accordance with the standards of the Winter Olympic Games.
The biggest difference between this ice making in the National Stadium and the previous one was that the "localization" was higher and made the venue a "Made in China" professional ice hockey venue.
